How to check Version of KAC

Ok so i heard somewhere that KAC automatically updates itself? Is this true and how do i check the version of my KAC and whats the latest version.

For me rcon kac_status isnt working
I tried kac_status by it self too, didnt do anything, said unknown command.

It doesn't sound like it is loaded. Try sm_plugins_list in console.
