Install Problems

Sorry if I sound like a noob that does not want to read I have read a lot.
I am new to sourcemod and metamod but not new at SRCDS.
Is there a good set of instructions for installation and configuring of KAC.
I have managed to get sourcemod and MetaMod installed and working.
The Socket_3.0.0 I have installed but does not seem to be working and there are no good instructions for installation and configuring.
KAC I did not find a good set of instructions for installation and configuring.
I had to search threw a lot of posts on the forums to figure out where to install the KAC file and configurations.
I installed KAC and it shows to be running but no kac.log
I have a SourceMod error log the errors in the log I believe is caused from Socket_3.0.0 not running.
What is the difference between the kigen-ac-pub.smx and kigen-ac-pub-nosockets.smx in how they work.

Sourcemod-1.2.4 Working
mmsource-1.7.1 Working
socket_3.0.0alpha ??????
kigen-ac-pub.smx Loading but does not seem to be working.

I really want to get everything working so any help would be appreciated.

I have kac.log now and 1 kick so it is working with kigen-ac-pub-nosockets.smx.
Still have not got the socket to work but I will read some more.
