Ban Appeal

Post by Pansire »

STEAM_0:0:21710980

Hello. Upon recently attempting to connect to a TF2 server, I recieved the "Disconnect: You are banned from all Kigen's Anti-Cheat (KAC) protected servers. See http://www.kigenac.com/ for more information." message.

My friend, who was the previous owner, gave this account over to me, claiming it was near useless; now I see why.

Is there anything I can do to take steps towards repealing this account's ban? I figure it wouldn't hurt to at least make an appeal to remove the previous owner's actions. Thanks in advance!

Generally speaking if the Steam ID is KAC banned it's final.

You provide the Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:21710980

Checking the KAC global ban list shows.

Checking 'STEAM_0:0:21710980'...
Steam ID is on the banlist.

Reason Cheating. KAC ID:5.16
Invoked on 05/10/09 06:43

5.x - Failure to match server replicated convar.
is when the convar and the value provided by the client does not match the servers.
This will pretty much just be replicated convars that should, on normal clients, always match the server's copy.
Illegitimate clients (cheaters) will generally either reply with the convars default value
or with the values modified beyond what they should be. (sv_cheats 1, sv_consistency 0, etc.)

Your best bet is to setup a new Steam account.
