I'm very happy with the way KAC is now!

It works and it keeps the stinking cheats out of my server, and like a few people have already stated.. if you dont like it simply dont use it.

I've been on a few servers back when KAC had the whitelist feature and you would always see people in game trading to get there friends whitelisted either by paying for it with money or trading steam accounts.

Keep up the good work Kigen (and anoyone else involved in the project :D )

It means the cheaters where he lives aren't likely to be on the global banlist. Cause the global banlist is comprised of servers I control. Which means the bans are from people playing on servers in the USA.

However, I do have quite a few bans from Europe (mainly Germany). I guess cause they feel they can cheat on USA servers without getting in trouble.

I would surely prefer (instead of deactivation of socket) to have bans for "sure cheating infraction" made in europe updating to master server..
Just a wish but useful to make sure they feel on the grill..
A real powerful global banlist... :)

and a closed source which insures people with bad attentions,
not can modify kac to add un-cheating players to master ban list.
but the module for sending bans to the master server is not in the public plugin, (exist an private version too)
but could it be made so it can come as an auto update feature?
and it could be made so people dont cant modify nor alter it in the plugin?
because here in europe, the is a big market too add to the ban list kigen, like u says germans, they often cheat here.
and we have suffered over the banlist mainly is in the USA region, where it captures cheaters and not capturing european
players, so they can cheat like hell here and get caught, but just moves on to another server since the ban isent a global.

No, the main reason being SourceMod itself. GPL issues aside SourceMod isn't trust-able either.

Are you still working on an independent version Kigen?

JFGI, GPL means everyone can and should have source code and modify it for their needs until it's not for the commercial porpoises. And this is the best thing that ever happened in software industry.
