I'm sorry if this has been discussed before as a topic.
I did an initial search on cl_particles_show_bbox and had no hits.

What specifically is cl_particles_show_bbox?
I have a KAC 1.2.1 ban and I would like to be able to explain it to the banned player.

Thank you for your time ... ;)

Basically it's like a wallhack of sorts.

Those screenshots will probably tell you more so you can understand. Particularity the last few.

Yes these should explain with great ease.
This might be a great idea for users of KAC
to submit to you as screen captures for an example database.

Thank you again Kigen ... ;)

I apologize if I'm resurrecting too old of a post, but I'm in the process of setting up a new CS:S server, something I've done many times before and had something happen that was new. On a brand new CS:S server with SourceMod and KAC and on a brand new virgin installation of CS:S on a brand new laptop, KAC banned me from my own server.

It gives the following message:

L 08/27/2013 - 11:47:04: [kigen-ac-pub.smx] Bad CVar Query Result: Username (ID: STEAM_0:0:xxxxxxx | IP: 173.167.81.70) returned query result "Not found" (expected Okay) on convar "cl_particles_show_bbox" (value "").

When I check the console on my client installation, this variable doesn't even exist. However, there is a "cl_particle_show_bbox" (minus the 's') with a value of "0".

Any ideas what might be causing this? I really want to use KAC on my server, but I can't if it's going to keep banning me from my own server. I'll be glad to help troubleshoot this in any way I can.

Thanks,

Quitcher

Please disregard the above post. I just found where the variable had been eliminated and what the solution was.

For anyone else who comes across this, see (http://www.kigenac.com/viewtopic.php?f=20&t=1271&p=5361&hilit=cl_particles_show_bbox#p5361).
