now that kac isn't dead should we not all donate to kigen

either our support (help with coding those who manage) or our money?

Having helping hands in developing KAC would prove more useful than money. However, any help that can be provided would be very helpful. :D

Yes, I felt that making such rash decisions based on the actions of a few were the worst thing I could have done. So, again, I apologize to everyone for that.

I will be continuing developing KAC for all those who have used it over the years. :D

So I'd like to ask for the everyone's continued support. I hope that you all can accept my apology.

sure we can kigen, and lets find some co.coder to work with you on this great project =D

but kigen how about make so all the server's running the plugin report to master banlist now ?

i know you have your kigen-ac-pri.smx that can do that, just a thought is it possible?

Its possible to have all servers report their bans to the master server. The problem is that it isn't trust-able.

And I'm not going to be releasing a closed source SM plugins. While I do feel I am correct on the matter of if plugins are derivatives it would only result in hardship for the end-users. As BALIOPAN stated: http://kigenac.com/viewtopic.php?p=4612#p4612 If I were to release a closed source version he would do everything he could to break its functionality with SourceMod.

there goes that dream away =/ but ok i understand clearly kigen,

kac should have been a metamod source plugin then (from start)

imagine how many steamid's you would have had banned =D

Even closed source plugins can be reversed engineered, it's still not safe.

That's why code obfuscation, string encoding, anti-debugging, and symbol stripping exists. It won't completely stop reverse engineering but hopefully it will discourage all but the most determined reverse engineers from understanding how it works.
