WOW, Quiet Around Here

Post by coach »

There hasn't been much activity of late around here.

Are you still working on this Kigen?

Are you still planning on an update to move to a SM free version?

I remember a while ago that you were planning some revolutionary new A/C measures in the next version.

Are these still coming?

Or has there been a stumbling block?

Anyway thanks for all your hard work to date on this plugin to assist the community in eradicating some of the cheats out there. 8-)

Can't say that what I've been doing is easy. VALVe updates the engine which changes things.

But what I am doing is moving along. Just takes time because as far as I know the stuff I'm doing no one else has done.

Good to hear Kigen. I look forward to further updates.

Valves updates although good at times can be a real pain in the butt for developers though.

Hey, aside from aimbot, what would be the number one most annoy feature in a cheat?

So many exploits/cheats that can be used for an advantage by players.

As you said Aimbot would be the worst. Apart from that walling, no recoil, the use of binds/macros for multiple commands (eg rapid shooting with pistol), even heard of hax that lesson hit damage.

The above are DODS related. DODS doesn't seem to be as badly infested with cheaters though as CSS.

Any effort to stop any cheats are always appreciated. I run 3 server side Anti Cheat programs including Kigens hoping to reduce the amount of options for cheaters.

esp & radar hack. if we could block them then the anti wh do the rest to normal wh. i think those 2 are the most annoying,
aimbot easy to spot so not an problem, but nice kigen if u make a patch against it
EDIT:
new zblock out also has anti noflash. so im running a server with kac, zblock, nocheatz
and have anti wh, anti aimbot, anti noflash, anti speedhack, and ofc cvar detections =D

so for me its ESP & RADAR HACK those are the annoying ones cuz nuttin catches it

All of the above posted items are valid.
If I had to pick the top items it would be in order
  • Aim-Bot
    Walling
    No Recoil
    Radar Hack
    No Spread
Possibly allowing admins in the server the ability to direct KAC
To focus an a suspect via Steam ID or menu.

I'm aware that KAC scans all players in the server.
I just thought that allowing suspect control over KAC
Might provide server operators & admin more piece of mind.

A logical item would be for KAC to scan for a CVAR predetermined amount of time
before reverting to normal player scanning.
At the very least it gives admins the option, though it's probably not required.
