The KAC message stated that I was banned permanently from all servers on which KAC was used. And I didn't want to test the waters any further at that point so I wasn't aware it was a local ban only.

I installed KAC on our server and was promptly banned because it was set for pure =1 and consistency =1. I did not realize those were the settings until it was too late.
